Noah could not read or write, as stated in the Junction Precinct, Humboldt County Register, April 18, 1896, though he was school district trustee 1896 in Bull Creek School District.
He grew fruit trees (peaches) and was a rancher (stock).
His grave washed away in the Bull Creek cemetery in the flood of 1955.
